On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, an unapologetically left-leaning blogger posted a screenshot of a text exchange between herself and a GOP candidate for attorney general. The candidate, attacking the Democratic incumbent, invoked a Middle Eastern curse to say he should be “hanging from a (expletive) crane.”
